Okay, so I have to explain why I was so excited to have Makadie come visit me at my office, well, besides the obvious reason of being able to show her and Ankia off to my co-workers. When I was little one of my favorite places to play was always Dad's office. This had a lot to do with the fact that he was the boss so everyone had to be nice to me, and the presence of Charlie, who taught me how to play my first game of computer Solitaire. So, I figure wanted Makadie to be able to experience some of that by coming to visit me. Okay, mainly I just wanted to show her and Anika off to my co-workers. Makadie successfully rooted out every candy dish on our floor. But in her defense, she did share with all of us. :) Marilyn had some fruit snacks laid out on her desk for Makadie, and when she saw them, she screamed "PONIES!!!" They were "My Little Pony" fruit snacks. Marilyn is still laughing about that. Annette always complains that I never put pictures of her on ...

We had a really fun visit in April from Coleman and his family. This was the first time we had seen any of them since Christmas time and Makadie and Anika sure had changed. Makadie is such a fun little girl now. Anika is just a doll. Of course, most of my feelings on the subject have been affected by spending four days with them last week, so I'll do my best to remember what it was like when they were here last. Okay, so I started this blog right after Memorial weekend. But better late than never, right? Also, a lot of these pictures are repeats, but hopefully you'll enjoy my spin on them. They drove in on Friday and didn't get here until pretty late. So the party really started on Saturday. We decided to have a picnic Saturday afternoon so Grandma Miller and Ruth Ann could come and see the girls. Makadie and I enjoyed a pre-picnic of fruit snacks on the blanket.
