I took pictures at a jazz concert and I must confess, I really don't like jazz. The whole time I couldn't help but think "Dad and Coleman would be enjoying this so much more than me." The really sad part was that their manager wouldn't let me take pictures past the first two songs. This was sad, because, well, that's why I was there.

So here is my latest photo dilemma (I think that's how it's spelled, if not, apologies) I can take good pictures, but I'm ready to take great pictures and I'm not sure how to overcome this roadblock. All my pictures are very matter-a-fact, safe in Brother Atkinson's words, and I want to spice things up a bit. If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. These are pictures from last week's Jerico Road concert, not my best, but alright.

I'm an aunt at last. This does seem like a funny thing to post on my blog seeing that Coleman is the only one who ever reads it, and well, he knows. :) I'm so excited to see Mackadie (I think that's how they plan on spelling her name) that I can hardly stand it. I keep racking my brain for good excuses to go to Utah before Thanksgiving, but I don't think I'm going to get one.

I finally had to put together a portfolio. I actually turned in a resume for an internship with the Church magazines. I don't think I have a good chance at getting it, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. So anyway, these are the pictures I turned in. This is a project I had to do for my digital photo class. I thought it looked way cool. The exciting thing is that I printed it too and it looks so hot. i think I'll put it on my wall when I get back from my teacher.

Did you know that Dr. Suess got his start before and during WWII as a political cartoonist? I didn't and recently learned about it in my history class. So, I've decided to enlignten you all so I've posted some of my favorites.

I have decided to start a blog. Ashley and I were discussing the inconvenience of bebo because you have to be a member to do anything, so we decided to follow in the footsteps of Coleman and Roni and create blogs. So here is mine.
