This is a project I had to do for my digital photo class. I thought it looked way cool. The exciting thing is that I printed it too and it looks so hot. i think I'll put it on my wall when I get back from my teacher.
People in class kept asking me what the heck it was. When I told one girl that it was flowers made out of bombs she said sarcastically "That a positive thing to decorate with". What a toad.
For those of you who may not know, today is my one year anniversary. It has been exactly one year since my graduation from BYU -Idaho and Rexburg . That's right, December 20, 2006 was the memorable day that I said good-bye to Rexburg and the campus that had been my home for too many years and entered the real world. All right, Ogden UT isn't exactly the "real world" but in honor of my anniversary , I thought I would reminisce for a moment and do a recap of my year. Unfortunately the only people who read my blog are quite aware of what I have done this year, but hopefully it will provide some humor . First I celebrated my release from the land of ice and snow by going to Arizona for Christmas. although it is traditional to wish for a white Christmas , there is nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas in a place that is warm enough to swim. I agree with Alita that we should spend Christmas in AZ more often, it just makes sense. Upon my return to the tundr...
I'm sure you are all aware that we went to Disneyland for Thanksgiving. I'm making this assumption because four of the six people who regularly read my blog were part of the expedition. We had a great time and here's a little summary of our trip. I was a little apprehensive about spending that much money to go to a theme park. I went to Disneyland when I was a sophomore in High School and had about as much fun as I do at the doctor's office (and no, the doctor's office is not my happiest place on earth.) I knew lots of this had to do with the company and the fact that I got pretty sick in the park and on the way home, but there was still a part of me who attributed it to the fact that I'm not really an "amusement park person." But the girls did make it sound like fun, so I decided to give the park one more chance. Well, I'm certainly glad that I did. It was a blast!!! We had such a good time and I only thought I was going to die once, which is real...
I know it's been a while since I actually went to Colorado, but I have a strict policy on skipping ahead. That means that I can't blog any of my Yosemite pictures until I've done my Easter weekend, so I decided to stop procrastinating. My weekend in Colorado was fantastic. I guess it's hard to go wrong when I'm visiting my favorite brother, sister-in-law and niece. Coleman and Roni are great hosts and anyone who hasn't been out to visit them should serious rethink that. Of course, the only people who read my blog are immediate family members, and they've all been there. So i guess you'll all just have to go again. When Coleman asked me what I wanted to I said "go to the zoo." I'm sure this doesn't come as a shock to anyone who even remotely knows me. I love animals it is true, but I had another reason for wanting to go to the zoo. Makadie loves animals too (I knew she was going to take after me) and know a lot of their names and...
