Our second stop on our Michigan Tour was Mackinac Island.  A fabulous place and where I would buy a summer home if I was the kind of person who had the kind of money to buy a "summer home" with.  The absolute coolest thing about it - the horses!!!  They have a no car rule on the island so you have to walk, bike or have a horse to get around.  It was awesome!!!!  We started by taking the ferry.  This already means it's going to be a good trip because I love boats.  I don't care how big or small, being on a boat is cool. We also visited Windmill Island.  This has a large working windmill that they use to grind wheat int
