Swimming at the Clearfield Pool
I realize that these pictures are horribly out of order. I've been sorting through my 2011 picture folder and when I get inspired, I blog. So you'll just have to try and keep straight what happened when.
I know this picture is fuzzy, but it's still so darn cute that I have to include it. Look at the grin on her face!!!
Just for the record, I wasn't ignoring Makadie. Dad and I had divided the kids to make sure that they would both be safe. I just happened to have the camera and Anika. :)
We both look so lovely in our swimsuits.

Anyway, this particular outing is when Anika and Makadie came to visit us in March. For those of you who don't remember, Roni was pregnant with Risa and not feel well at all. So we decided to help out by taking the girls "off her hands" for a while. They came to visit Ogden for a week. We had a lot of fun and were able to come up with plenty of things to keep them entertained. And Roni was able to catch up on some sleep. I'm pretty sure she had fun too. :)
One of our outings was to go swimming. Clearfield has built a really fun indoor aquatic center. It's definitely geared toward children and families, and we were smart enough to go during school hours, so the pool wasn't crowded and mostly full of Makadie and Anika-sized kids.
I just have to say, it's days like this that make me wish I could get a re-do on my childhood. They definitely didn't have stuff like this when we were kids. All we had was the Hawthorne pool and sprinklers in the backyard.
